A "Hall of Shame" to expose cars parked illegally
in disability or mobility parking spaces.
A young man approached me the other night as I was taking the photo of a Ford parked without permit. I was a bit cautious, you never know what will happen when someone approaches you as you take photos of cars parked illegally!
Imagine my surprise when he told me that I had taken a photo of HIS car a couple years ago. At the time he'd been really angry with me. But he says that it was a good thing. My action got him to think about what he'd been doing and he realised it was better not to use the disability parking spaces!
This "boy racer" reformed his ways, and stopped parking where he shouldn't be. That's very good.
But it warmed my heart also to get that kind of feedback, because it shows me that everyone CAN change, and that this website is not pointless, that people do take notice and learn and change. Not a huge victory, but this is the kind of battle that will only be won by gaining a meter of ground at a time!

The taxi company was contacted and their general manager is going to look into it. He said:
"If you have any additional information on the date and time of this incident I would welcome the receipt of that so we can identify the driver concerned at the time and address the matter with them directly.

I may not buy more in one go, but I guarantee you I spend as much, if not more, than the average punter does in a week.
