Note from poster: Smith City has just opened up in town. They obviously aren't too concerned about their customers that require mobility parking. When the manager was spoken to her comment was that they had trucks come in and out and needed to put the bin there out of the way but they had kept the mobility park next to it free. The "free" mobility car park had pallets stacked on one side and this bin on the other side. Not a lot of room for someone to operate a roof top hoist or even just get out of their car! Building Act would stipulate TWO mobility car parks to be available.
Note from webmaster: If this is a new store, I think a call to your friendly Council Officer is de rigeur

The taxi company was contacted and their general manager is going to look into it. He said:
"If you have any additional information on the date and time of this incident I would welcome the receipt of that so we can identify the driver concerned at the time and address the matter with them directly.

I may not buy more in one go, but I guarantee you I spend as much, if not more, than the average punter does in a week.

After contacting Smiths City head office in Christchurch they are getting the bin removed and assured me it would not happen again
