A council licenced taxi abusing the disabled bay in the council offices car park !!

The taxi company was contacted and their general manager is going to look into it. He said:
"If you have any additional information on the date and time of this incident I would welcome the receipt of that so we can identify the driver concerned at the time and address the matter with them directly.

I may not buy more in one go, but I guarantee you I spend as much, if not more, than the average punter does in a week.

But.... the taxi driver could have been disabled OR what if the taxi is there to pick-up or drop off adisabled passenger? You shouldn't jump to conclusions. Need to know the FULL story. Was a badge being shown, driver observed etc.
There was no driver in the vehicle, no blue badge displayed.
If the taxi driver was disabled, they would display a blue badge. In any event, it is rather unlikely that the driver would have had an impairment, as a taxi driver. There are very very few disabled taxi drivers.
If they were picking up or dropping off passengers with mobility impairments, they shouldn't have parked in the space. Perhaps waiting in the vehicle might be acceptable, as they could move if someone who needs the spaces comes by, but they shouldn't actually park in there.
